the Chatsworth Estate, the family owned 4 star Peak Edge Hotel Wedding Venue has everything you and your guests need for an unforgettable wedding day.

Peak...Edge Hotel was built in 2011 to complement the existing Red Lion Bar & Bistro
which dates back to the 17th Century. Exuding charm and character, creating a warm
and welcoming atmosphere and with idyllic views over the Derbyshire Countryside, our
stunning venue combines the classic natural beauty of the Peak District with the sleek
elegance of modern boutique all in one venue.

Exclusively yours, our promise to you is that we will only ever hold one wedding a day allowing you and your guests to experience our undivided attention. Our experienced wedding planners will be on hand throughout your planning and then on your wedding day to ensure everything is as perfect as you can imagine.

Located within 10 minutes of the M1 between the market towns of Chesterfield and Matlock, and surrounded by open countryside; the venue lends itself as an ideal destination. With the historic Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Bakewell only a short drive away, why not stay longer and explore.

Civil Ceremonies
If you’re looking for a beautiful venue in which to marry, Peak Edge Hotel is licensed to
perform Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships.

Our luxury Hotel boasts 2 fabulous licensed suites in which to say ‘I do’ each either their own individual features to ensure the perfect Ceremony room for you.

The Orangery is the largest room with its beautiful glass roof, crystal chandeliers and
amazing views over the Derbyshire countryside.

For more intimate wedding ceremonies the Harewood Suite is adorned with ornate
mirrors and crystal chandeliers.

For ceremonies up to 74 guests then The Harewood Suite provides a beautifully intimate setting. With its ornate mirrors, crystal chandeliers and partially exposed brickwork the
Harewood is full of character with a touch of elegance.

For Ceremonies up to 140 guests then The Orangery is a spectacular setting. Flooded with natural light from the beautiful apex glass ceiling and four French doors, the Orangery is both stunning in appearance and outlook. Leading directly out on to your private terrace, the views over the unspoilt Derbyshire countryside are there to enjoy.

Drinks Reception
Your drinks reception will take place in the Red Lion Pub & Restaurant, where your celebration drinks will be served to your guests as they arrive from church or as they exit the Civil Ceremony Room. Your guests will then be able to relax in front of the open fires, on the comfy sofas in the lounge or if it’s a beautiful day, on the private terrace area outside.

Enjoy the picturesque views whilst your photographer takes advantage of our beautiful grounds in which you get those amazing pictures that will last a lifetime.

Wedding Breakfast
Your Wedding Breakfast will take place in our stunning Orangery. The glass apex ceiling and crystal chandeliers bring a touch of elegance to this beautiful room as light floods in through the four French doors.

With fabulous views over our Derbyshire Countryside and direct access to your own private terrace area it is the perfect space to sit back, relax and enjoy your afternoon celebrations.

The Orangery can accommodate guest numbers up to 100. For guest numbers up to 140 then bi-folding doors are opened up to the adjoining Harewood Suite to give you the additional space needed.

The Harewood Suite can also be used independently for the more intimate Wedding Breakfast up to 40 guests.

Evening Reception
We are very lucky to have three stunning function suites which enables us to cater for up to 200 guests for an evening reception. After your wedding breakfast and speeches you simply glide from the Orangery in to the Ashover Suite and then let the party begin...

With its imposing chandelier, The Ashover Suite is the perfect space for your evening reception as it has its own private bar, covered outdoor terrace area, dance floor and space for our resident DJ or a band of your choice.

The hire of our stunning twinkle backdrop will give your evening reception that extra sparkle.

Enjoy your stay
All twenty six bedrooms boast picturesque views over the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Our bedrooms include four suites; two of which are modern accessible/ family rooms as well as beautiful feature rooms with glass Juliet balconies overlooking
the lake and our newly built wooden bridge. The Hotel is finished to a very high standard with rain showers, double ended baths along with many extra facilities including climate control, latest LED flat screen TV’s under floor heating and free Wi-Fi
throughout.

Finishing Touches
The Peak Edge Hotel has a number of finishing touches to help add that extra something special to your day. These include: A twinkle backdrop which covers the entire wall in the Ashover Suite, personalised Royal Mail post box, floor standing candelabras, table centrepieces, wishing tree and chair covers.

Late Licence
If you would like to ensure that your evening reception continues in to the early hours we can provide a late licence for an additional hour from 12am until 1am for £200.00.

Munchies
In addition to your evening buffet we could serve ‘Munchies’ to your guests later on in the evening. A few favourites are bacon butties, pizza portions, hot chocolate with double chocolate chip muffins.
