The National Trust for Scotland's Pollok House Wedding Venue is regarded as one of Scotland’s grandest Edwardian country homes, and offers peace and tranquility, a stone’s throw from Glasgow city centre.
The ancestral home of the Maxwell...family since the 13th century, the current Pollok House was built in 1752 and extended in 1890. It’s famous for its striking Georgian architecture, luxurious Edwardian furnishings and world-famous art collection, including masterpieces by El Greco, Blake and Murillo.
The traditional spaces within the house can be dressed to reflect your own style and theme. The lawns and gardens can be used for drinks receptions, garden games and to capture the perfect photos.
The external spaces are well suited to having a marquee or tipi erected and this will allow you to have space for up to 400 guests.
With beautifully manicured gardens and sweeping staircases, Pollok House Wedding Venue offers the perfect setting for intimate weddings, corporate entertaining and private parties. read more
